Vodka One strongly believes in supporting local artists.

Emiel Saada, otherwise known as Mielo, is a Sydney based graphic designer and signwriter. Always being a passionate drawer and creator, he graduated from University with a Bachelor of Industrial Design. His first signwriting work started when he was working behind a bar, and from this, his business grew. The alcohol industry was quick to lead support, giving him jobs running around town hand-painting artworks for promotional purposes. Now five years of full-time sign-painting & murals later, he leads a team of creatives to provide younger designers and artist with the opportunity to support themselves through commercial creativity.

When Vodka One approached him for label design, Mielo was keen to give it a go. The approach taken was from a real signwriting perspective, drawing off traditional techniques and keeping that imperfect yet personal touch to the design.
